Team Work Makes The Dream Work!

Think of some successful duos; Kenny and Dolly, Torvill and Dean, Ant and Dec?  Well this year you can add the Food and Families Festival and the Carnival Committee.

Over the years, after the festival we have handed over the marquee to the Carnival Committee to continue the fun and raise much needed funds for Tar Barrels. You may not know that proceeds from the bar run by The Volunteer Inn, throughout the day, go towards keeping the barrels rolling.

We wanted to make this year even better and help raise even more funds, so we have been working closely with our friends at the Carnival Committee to help bring you a fantastic finale to the festival.

So, dust off your flipflops and come along to The Carnival Committee’s Caribbean Night from 6pm on 2nd June!  There will be food, drink, music and dancing and buckets of fun!

Music will come from Jabbrock. They are a popular South West Reggae Band, used to playing sell out gigs at various venues around the South West and have a massive following.

Food will be provided by Janice at ‘Fancy That Catering’.  This will be a real Caribbean treat for the senses! Janice will be offering vegetarian, vegan and Meat options on the night.

This will be a fantastic end to a great day and, like the festival, will be a free-entry event. We want the buzz from the festival to continue into the night and make Ottery the only place to be on 2nd June!
